Re: Illyrian Economics
Illyria accepts this deal. I put Cows +2 since I have cows as a resource and I am using one of my resources to trade for more cows, so I get more I guess.

Re: Illyrian Economics
don't trade for something you already have in large enough quantities that you can sell it to others.

Re: Illyrian Economics
Meh, I'm not going to trade for something just to trade it. I wanted the trade with Sparta (Place I got it) For the money we get. It didn't matter to me what resources I get. But now I can trade for cow again so, more money too. Im a Barbarian nation I can't go sell Art, weaponary or armour.

Re: Illyrian Economics
Barbarian Art? Lmao.. Weaponary/Armour can't compete with the bronze/iron workings of Greece and Rome. My swords may be better, but Greece outclasses me in armour and spears, arrows. Rome outclasses me in armour and weaponary. Imo a Gladius/Scutum shield combo is better than a Barbarian longsword.

Re: Illyrian Economics
Well, you can at least try trading your longswords. I am sure that also the Romans and Greeks would appreciate taking the men of the lands you conquer as slaves (historically accurate). Roman armies often also comprised ofIllyrian men. You could potentially set up a mercenary camp to increase revenue. Illyria was well known for bronze, iron, and swords with wing-shaped handles.
Bold is things i reccomend you do/add to trade resources.

Lovely Thanks Jakev your a great help Though with the slaves thing, I don' think a Barbarian nation would sell their own people as slaves, they usually became slaves after Rome conquered them but...

I actually said taking the men from the lands you conquer...as long as you are continually at war, the supply of slaves will continue.
